Custom Order Terms

These terms apply to all custom and made-to-order products from Salut Heureux, including custom steelwork, furniture restoration and any bespoke commissioned work.

Quoting

All custom orders begin with a quote. Submit your requirements via our Request a Quote page. We will respond within 2 business days with a detailed quote including price, lead time and payment terms.

Deposit

A deposit (typically 50%) is required before production begins. The deposit amount will be confirmed in your quote. The deposit is non-refundable once production has started.

Design Approval

Where applicable, you will be asked to approve a design, drawing or specification before production begins. Once approved, changes may incur additional costs.

Lead Times

Lead times are confirmed at the time of quoting and depend on the complexity of the order and current workload. We will keep you updated on progress. Delays caused by factors outside our control (such as material availability) will be communicated promptly.

Delivery and Collection

Delivery costs for custom and large items are quoted separately. Collection from our Vereeniging workshop is available by appointment. We do not offer flat-rate delivery for large or heavy custom products.

Defects and Disputes

If your completed order does not match the agreed specification, please notify us within 7 days of collection or delivery with photographs. We will assess the issue and work to resolve it fairly.

Cancellations

Cancellations after production has begun will forfeit the deposit. If materials have been ordered specifically for your job, additional costs may apply.
